SQUARE METER S.A. (“SQM”) is an independent, dedicated company, providing partnerships to actors already active or looking to be active in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg’s Real Estate industry.
SQM offers an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the sector allowing solutions covering the entire Real Estate life cycle. It has hands-on experience and a long track record in a wide range of the sub-sectors of this business. Partners are property owners, developers, brokers, investors and occupiers.
Laurent Cooreman is the founder of SQUARE METER S.A.
Active for the past 20 years in Luxembourg, Laurent has developed a broad network and achieved numerous successes amongst which the launch of the CBRE Luxembourg office, that he opened in November 2008. Having established and successfully developed the office in partnership with CBRE into a 20-person company and one of the market leaders in the industry. He decided to leave in 2017 to take on a new challenge.
Throughout his career, Laurent was intimately involved in Investment Advisory, Project Development Advisory, Letting, Valuation, Building Management and Project Management.
Thanks to his NLP Master and driven by his passion for learning and personal development, he has always placed the human element in the heart of the business relation and focused on values and the value created.
Already fluent in six languages, he started to learn Mandarin in 2014 in order to be able to warmly welcome Chinese clients in Luxembourg.
Laurent Cooreman is Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and was until 2017 Board Member of LuxReal, Real Estate Association of Luxembourg. Over the past several years, Laurent has often been contacted to share his vision of the evolution of the Luxembourgish Real Estate industry in the newspapers and business publications.
Laurent has been a frequent speaker or lecturer at the University of Luxembourg, IFBL and IFE.
